Enrique Guilabert
Lead Mentor
Olá! I’m Enrique, a Spanish fullstack developer, and I’ve been bringing people together through technology since 2017.
My path into web development hasn’t been straightforward. One of my first roles was at a startup, where I helped design and implement a job portal to connect young talent like you with employers. I came in with some skills, but most of what I learned came from collaborating with others: asking questions, sharing ideas, and building solutions as a team.
It was really exciting to see a product finally launch that we'd been working on for so long. At that point, I started to realize that, as humans, we want products that are useful, meaning they solve our problems.
Over the years, I’ve worked on innovative projects as a developer, but I've also led the design of user interfaces, and taken on product management responsibilities. I even stepped away from coding for a time to guide a company through digital transformation during and after the global pandemic.
If you’re thinking about starting a career in web development, I understand it can feel overwhelming. The Web changes quickly, and there’s always something new to learn. But you don’t need to know everything right away. Step by step, as you practice, you’ll start to feel more confident. Along the way, you’ll discover what truly inspires you, and you’ll begin to shape your own path.
That’s why mentoring means so much to me. Beyond teaching concepts, I love being there as others face the same challenges I once did, and creating a space where we can learn, share, laugh, and grow together.
Fullstack development is not just about mastering frontend and backend technologies. It’s about building products that care about people.
